Decision-makers value the input of students. Since the Ontario government or its stakeholders cannot sit down with every individual student in the system, the CSA is available to clearly communication the student position.

As the only recognized and dedicated voice for college and college-university students in Ontario, the CSA is officially represented on the following policy forums:

  • College University Consortium Council (CUCC)·
  • Coordinating Committee on Student Services (CCSS)·
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPI) Provincial Steering Committee·
  • Ontario Advisory Committee on Student Financial Assistance (OACSFA).
  • Ontario College Application Service Advisory Board (OCAS)·
  • Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) Appeals Board·
  • The College Compensation and Appointments Council Student Advisory Committee·
  • Additional ad hoc committees and task forces formed by the government or other organizations dealing with post-secondary issues.
